News for Student Employee Supervisors – Minimum Wage Increase Reminder
Minimum wage for current student employees will be raised to $11.10 on 12/27/2018.
Minimum wage for current student employees will be raised to $11.10 on 12/27/2018. Any student employee making below $11.10 will have their wage rate increased automatically on that date. Supervisors are not required to send us any documentation for that wage rate change.
If you have students working who have increased responsibilities above minimum wage and you would like to give them a wage increase above $11.10 to coincide with the minimum wage increase, please submit a Student Employment Referral as a Wage Rate Increase by 12/12/2018 with a start date of 12/27/2018 at the link below.
Please remember wages cannot be backdated. Timely submission will allow for processing prior to shut down.
We wanted to send this reminder as you work on your payroll for student employees for the spring 2019 semester.
Please contact Linda Rossi, Career Services Secretary, at x2468 or email email@example.com if you have any questions.
