SafeZone LBGTQIA+ Inclusion Spring 2019 Training
March 28, 2019 2:00 pm
Increase awareness, knowledge, and skills for individuals to advocate for their LGBTQIA+ peers, family members, friends, coworkers, and themselves.
The Professional Development Committee is offering a Safe Zone Training on Thursday, March 28, from 2 - 4 pm at Brockport Downtown room 524 (161 Chestnut St. Rochester, NY 14604). The training is open to students, faculty, and staff. Please register for the training using the link below.
The Safe Zone training provides an opportunity for participants to learn skills to develop, enhance, and maintain environments in workplaces, schools and other social settings that are safe, welcoming, and inclusive for individuals who are LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, plus so much more!), as well as for straight, cisgender people who care about diversity, equality, and inclusion.
