Come find out about the Brockport Collegiate Institute and the transformation to the State Normal School—predecessors to today's College at Brockport. These earlier forms of the school are not know to many, but they represent a fascinating era in the history of our school and higher education in general. Learn about pioneers of higher education like Mary Mortimer and Malcolm MacVicar, find out what a 'basket boarder' was, and much more.
