Dr. Hoffmann Publishes 25th Student Co-authored Peer Review Article
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry delivers co-authored peer-reviewed journal article with student Jessica Zagari. The student delves into an analysis of polyethylene glycol by way of gas and liquid chromatology.
Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Markus Hoffmann, PhD, published his 25th Brockport student co-authored peer-reviewed journal article with graduating biochemistry major, Jessica Zagari.
The citation of the published article is: “Polydispersity Analysis of Polyethylene Glycol by Gas and Liquid Chromatography,” by Jessica Zagari and Markus M. Hoffmann, The Chemical Educator, 2019, Vol. 24, pp 30-34.
The article is a result of Zagari’s 2018 summer research activities under Hoffmann’s guidance in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Both are grateful for Zagari receiving a Morris Fellowship for Summer Research in Chemistry. She has also presented this work as a poster at the Rochester Academy of Sciences Fall 2018 paper session, and has been accepted to present also at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research at Kennesaw State University, GA, in April 2019.
