Exhibit Opening – "Forever Plastics" in Drake Library
April 22, 2019 8:30 pm–9:30 pm
Join us for the Earth Day opening of the student-faculty exhibit "Forever Plastics" in Drake Library.
A wondrous material used in everyday life, plastics have also become a global environmental and public health challenge. Students and faculty from the Departments of Art, Environmental Science and Ecology, and History examine the benefits and dangers of this synthetic material in the exhibit "Forever Plastics – Saving the Great Lakes (and Ourselves) From America's Love Affair with Plastics" — opening at 8:30 pm in Drake Library after the Earth Day keynote talk from 7-8:30 pm in the Liberal Arts Building, McCue Auditorium (room 104). Please see attached flyer and join us for these Earth Day events.
