Library Director search candidate Matthew Ballard will participate in an open meeting today, May 14, from 12:45 to 1:45 pm in 119 Seymour College Union.
The Search Committee for the Director of Drake Memorial Library invites you to an open meeting on Tuesday, May 14, 12:45-1:45 pm in the Seymour College Union, room 119, to meet candidate Matthew Ballard. Matthew holds a Master of Library Science from the University at Buffalo, is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in American History and has a Bachelor of Science in History from the College at Brockport. He has been the Director of Library Services, Assistant Faculty at B. Thomas Golisano Library, Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary since 2017, as well as the Collection Services Librarian since 2015. In addition, Matthew has been the Orleans County Historian since 2015. Previously, he was the Executive Director & Curator for the Cobblestone Society & Museum in Albion, NY, and the Night and Weekend Library Supervisor at Francis & Marie McGrath Library, Hilbert College. Mr. Ballard has an extensive scholarly and service record and is a member of several professional organizations. His resume is attached.
This open meeting will provide members of the College community with an opportunity to ask questions of the candidate.
