Where: McCue Auditorium
When: June 27, from 8 am to 12 pm
“For each person to help prevent youth and adult substance abuse, you MUST know what is going on in your community.”
Galloway’s High in Plain Sight training program addresses current alcohol drug and concealment trends and identifiers. This training workshop is beneficial for educators, prevention providers, coalition members, law enforcement, probation officers, school administration, treatment, counselors, and parents. During the workshop, attendees will view over 70 visual aids so they can become familiar with items that are popular in the alcohol and drug scene. He is constantly updating his presentation with current trend changes and tailors each workshop to the community he is presenting in.
Jermaine Galloway has been a police officer for over 18 years. He is recognized for training over 85,000 people nationally, and internationally, on alcohol and drug prevention, education, treatment, and enforcement. His work involves conducting community scans, research, learning new alcohol and drug trends, and substance abuse identification. Galloway is also the founder and director of the Northwest Alcohol Conference and the founder of the Idaho Youth Alcohol and Drug Prevention and Education Program.
