New IT Self-Service Portal Coming July 1
Information Technology is excited to announce that on July 1 we are replacing our current ServiceNow Self-Service Portal with a new, easier to use Self-Service portal hosted with TeamDynamix!
Information Technology is excited to announce that on July 1 we are replacing our current ServiceNow Self-Service Portal with a new, easier to use Self-Service portal hosted with TeamDynamix! The new IT Self-Service Portal will be a more centralized and user-friendly platform allowing your tickets and key information to be accessed in a more streamlined and organized fashion.
The new Brockport IT Self-Service Portal is where you can request services, report a problem, check the status of existing tickets, access knowledge articles, and get IT alerts. The knowledge base contains hundreds of articles which assist anyone who has a Brockport NetID with a variety of issues ranging from account information to troubleshooting steps for common issues. Information in the knowledge base has been reviewed, updated, and re-organized to help make services and articles easier to find. When requesting services or reporting an issue in the new IT Self-Service Portal, a related knowledge article may also be recommended to you. The portal also includes IT alerts for events such as scheduled maintenance or outages. This new platform has been successfully implemented by several other SUNY and private colleges with excellent feedback.
As we are preparing to transition to the new IT Self-Service Portal for July 1, you may receive notifications from our ServiceNow environment from your tickets as some of them are moved into the new system. Please keep an eye out for a follow up article about accessing the new IT Self-Service Portal as we approach July 1. We are excited to share this new Portal with the campus and hope it makes reporting issues, requesting service and using technology at Brockport easier!
