International Conference Accepts Work of Two Brockport Faculty & Student

Two assistant professors and an undergraduate student from the Department of Journalism, Broadcasting, and Public Relations have had their research accepted to International Communication Association (ICA).

Assistant professors Sadia Cheema, Ph.D., and Alexander Moe, Ph.D., along with Journalism & Broadcasting senior Mel Horsford, have had their study accepted by the International Communication Association 70th Annual Conference, an academic conference in which peer-reviewed works are presented to scholars from around the world.

Their study, "How sports organizations are using Dialogic Communication principles to build relationships with sports fans," will be presented in May in Australia.

Dr. Moe also had a second study, "Narrative communication as a predictor of behavior intent in sport," accepted by ICA reviewers and will be presenting that work.
