Theatre and Music Studies Faculty Member Presents Paper at Virtual Conference

Associate Professor P. Gibson Ralph of the Department of Theatre and Music Studies presented her paper “The Theatrical Legacy of the Daughters of Sophia Dorothea of Hanover” at the 11th Annual Conference of the Visual and Performing Arts in Athens, G.

The conference, traditionally held in Athens, was, due to travel restrictions conducted over 22 hours via Zoom on June 8 and 9. The paper investigates the influence of Sophia Dorothea on her daughters and the contribution these three women of Prussia have on the study of Baroque stagecraft.
