African-Americans in the Soviet Union and the Legacy of African-Russians Today

Dr. Meredith Roman will speak on virtual panel hosted by George Washington University's Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies

Dr. Roman is on a panel of five prominent Soviet scholars that will take place from 10:30 am– 12 pm on Tuesday, September 15 following a 9–10:30 am conversation with Yelena Khanga, an African-Russian journalist and author who has African-American, African, and Jewish ancestry.
