Office Assistant 2 (Calculations) Vacancy in Advancement
The Office Assistant 2 position will support the Senior Director of Advancement; gift, pledge, and data entry; and assist with the training and supervision of our work-study students.
•Schedule development-related meetings and appointments, as needed, for the Senior Director of Advancement.
•Coordinate/schedule travel for Senior Director of Advancement and Engagement Officer(s) as needed.
•Assist with mail merges, name tags, etc. and coordinate the printing/assembly of projects as necessary.
Gift and Pledge and Data Entry
•Process payroll deduction gifts and pledges, calculate their end dates and bi-weekly amounts.
•Receipt/process all cash/credit cards received by the office.
•Process all demographic updates in Banner.
•Create any MachForms that may be needed for daily office use.
•Assist with the hiring, training and supervision of all student employees within the Division.
•Assist with office phone coverage
•Stay current in college wide Payment Card Industry initiatives (for credit card users)
•Complete monthly Payment Card Industry logbook (for credit card users)
•Maintain filing systems
•Prepare purchase requisitions and check disbursement forms
Candidates must have permanent appointment in an Office Assistant 2 classified position (or be eligible for transfer) or be reachable for appointment on the current NY State Civil Service canvass list for Office Assistant 2 (Calculations), Brockport location. New York State Preferred Lists candidates have preference.

•Knowledge of MS Office
