REMINDER: The College at Brockport is a Smoke Free Campus

The College at Brockport is committed to providing a Smoke Free Environment for the campus community. It is the collective responsibility of all community members (faculty, staff, students, and visitors), to support efforts to be compliant.

The college’s policy regarding smoking became effective on August 1, 2011, and states that smoking is prohibited on all College managed property both indoors and outdoors unless officially designated otherwise. The policy was put into place with the intention of improving the overall health and wellness of our campus environment by reducing exposure to secondhand smoke.

Please note – smoking is permitted in designated areas only. At the College at Brockport, Lots A and D1 are the only areas designated for smoking.

The Smoke-free Campus with Minor Exemptions Policy may be viewed at https://www.brockport.edu/support/human_resources/polandpro/docs/smoking.pdf or by clicking on the link below.
