CELT Brown Bag Discussion: What We Might Learn from High School Education: An Examination of Effective High Impact Practices - Dale Hartnett

Join us Friday, January 26, 12:15-1:15 pm, Edwards Hall (100B) for the first Brown Bag of the semester!

While we hear many stories of mandated curricula and standardized testing coming out of high schools, there are also islands of fabulous teachers who find ways to empower and excite students, who encourage students to take charge of their educations, and who become leaders for change in their communities. This presentation will present several case studies of life-changing education in secondary schools with ideas that might be adopted in higher education.
