Lauren Lieberman and former Brockport professor Dr. Rehnuma Karim started the first Camp Abilities in Bangladesh

Rehnuma Karim is President of the Heroes for All Foundation and Lauren Lieberman is the Founder and Director of Camp Abilities Brockport. Thirty children with visual impairments played cricket, "football" and track and field paired with college students

The mission of the “Heroes for all” Foundation" is to build an inclusive platform for the youth population to build them as morally responsible and informed global citizen who would rise up to their fullest potential by building a purposeful life through active civic engagement, cross-cultural collaborative initiatives among peers and organizations, and making positive leisure choices. The camp was part of the Heroes for All mission and another larger camp is planned for next year! Camp Abilities in Bangladesh is the 8th country outside of the US to host a Camp Abilities.
