The Campus Goes Red for Women's Heart Health
Campus Recreation is hosting a series of events throughout the month to support women’s heart health with a kick-off photo on National Go Red Day, Feb. 2, at 2:15 pm in the SERC Lobby. Please join us in creating a campus memory in support of women’s heart health.
The American Heart Association holds this annual day called "National Go Red Day" that will be held on Friday, Feb. 2. Awareness is raised for this cause by wearing the color red on that day, and on our campus each Friday during the month of February. All the money that is raised goes directly to the American Heart Association.
This year, Campus Recreation is encouraging the entire campus to participate every Friday in the month of February. If you are interested in helping to take part in this event, for a small donation of $5 you can wear red and/or jeans as a way of showing your support. Once you make your donation, you will place your name on a heart that will be added to the Wall of Heart Warriors located in the SERC, and you will be given a red dress pin or rubber bracelet to show your support.
The following locations are available to drop off your $5 donation and pick up your little red dress pin or support bracelet and donation sticker.
