Andie Graham, Environmental Science and Ecology, receives $82K from NYS Department of Environmental Conservation

Andie Graham, Environmental Science and Ecology, received an $82,000 grant from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to control the invasive Slender false-brome (Brachypodium sylvaticum) in the Bergen Swamp.

Environmental Science and Ecology's Andie Graham will use grant funds ($82K) received from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to continue her collaborative efforts to control the invasive Slender false-brome (Brachypodium sylvaticum) in the Bergen Swamp. Andie will engage the assistance of graduate and undergraduate students, as well as continuing to collaborate with the Bergen Swamp Preservation Society and the Genesee County Soil and Water Conservation District, both of whom will provide personnel to the project as well. The grant will be administered by The Research Foundation for SUNY.
