Graduate students Lily Jagodzinski and Kristi Lane run one-day Camp Abilities event!

On Friday, February 23, Brockport hosted 34 children with visual impairments for ice skating, swimming, and gymnastics. More than 50 undergraduate and graduate student volunteers helped make this program a success.

The KSSPE department partnered with the Olmsted Center in Buffalo and the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI) of Rochester. A big thank you to Brian Dickenson, Jason Moreni, John Feeney, and Nate Bull for their help and support with the program.

We would also like to thank the faculty who encouraged their children to volunteer as counselors for this event.

Camp Abilities will be held for a full week: June 23-30 at The College at Brockport. For more information, please visit the website below.
