Students in SOC 414 (Advanced Social Research Methods) will present the results of their project entitled Intersectional Identity and Academic Engagement: A Focus Group Study on Thursday April 26, from 3:30-4:45 pm in room 202 of the Liberal Arts Building.

The research team conducted five focus-group discussions with different subsets of Brockport students and then transcribed, coded, and analyzed the resulting data, to explore how students see themselves as students and as members of the College community.

The students will explain their project, share their tentative conclusions, and then invite discussion and feedback from attendees.
