Margaret Menear, Chief Janitor, to retire May 30

Congratulations to Margaret on her upcoming retirement. Her last day with us will be May 30. She will be leaving us and beginning her new life chapter.

Margaret began working on the Brockport campus for BASC in the dish room in 1970. From there, she moved to the Print Shop in Hartwell from 1971-1974. Her family moved out of state for a few years, but she returned to campus in 1988 as a cleaner in Custodial Services. She worked her way up the ranks to her current position as chief janitor. Margaret is looking forward to her retirement and will be doing more reading, sewing , embroidering, joining more Church activities and most importantly, spending more time with her family and grandchildren. She says Brockport has always been part of her life, and she will miss everyone. Of course, she will be keeping in touch.

Congratulations, Margaret! Enjoy; you deserve it!
