The Annual Campus Safety Report and Fire Safety Report are available for your review

The College is required to notify all faculty, staff, and students when the 2017 Campus Safety and 2017 Fire Safety reports are available for review.

To all Faculty, Staff & Students,

The College at Brockport's 2017 Annual Security Report (Campus Safety Report) is available. This report is required by federal law (Clery Act) and contains policy statements, crime statistics, and information on how to report a crime. The policy statements address college policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security, for example, policies for responding to emergency situations and sexual offenses. Three years' worth of statistics are included for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the College, on public property owned or controlled by the College, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus.

This report is available online at the link below. (You may also request a paper copy from the Office of the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at 395-2137.)

The Campus Fire Safety Report, also a requirement of the Clery Act, is published as a separate document and includes a guide to on-campus student residence fire safety policies and requirements. You will also find a description of the on-campus student residence fire safety conditions and fire history. The report may be accessed at the link below. (You may also request a paper copy from the Office of the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at 395-2137.)

Safety and security cameras are being installed in various locations on campus such as the entryways of residence halls. The cameras provide another layer of safety and security for the College community, just as Blue Light Phones, Emergency Voice Notification System and RAVE Alerting systems currently do. Please note that the cameras are not continuously monitored by the University Police department.

The College also offers a convenient access to resource information for students, faculty, and staff. By simply texting “BROCKPORT" to the number 444-999, you will be able to download the information from the KeynectUp link, after entering your name and email address. Contact information for University Police, Student Conduct, Title IX, and the Chief Diversity Office will all be available in the contacts on your phone.

Please note that the most up-to-date College policies are found on the College-Wide Policy web page at the link below.
