About the Center
The Center for Select Respect also encompasses the Center for Women and Gender. Our team of dedicated professional staff, graduate assistants and undergraduate students critically looks at relationship violence prevention, sexual violence prevention, college life and concerns pertinent to The College at Brockport's community.
Programs and strategies designed by Prevention and Outreach Services and the Center for Select Respect foster a "culture of respect" for ourselves, others and our greater Brockport community. A "culture of respect" contributes to a safe learning and living environment that promotes personal development, healthy interpersonal relationships, accountability and community engagement.
Select Respect ideology is the result of thoughtful collaborations between campus and community partners. The Center for Select Respect is located in the Seymour College Union, bringing aspects of college wellness and prevention efforts to the center of student activity on campus.
The Center for Select Respect is located in the basement of the Seymour Union, B124. Stop by and check it out!
