Our mission is to serve as the voice and advocate for our students. RHA creates a safe environment for self expression and open-mindedness. The RHA supports all members of the campus community no matter their identity, background or position. The RHA advocates for personal growth and leadership, while it creates a network of opportunities. We represent and communicate events happening in the Residential Community. The RHA is the governmental voice of the residence halls. By providing opportunities for leadership and advocacy, we strive to help residents enjoy and impact their experience at the College at Brockport.
The purpose of RHA is to unite the residence halls across campus at The College at Brockport and broaden their sense of community.
Who can become a member of RHA?
Any student who is an on-campus living student can be a member of RHA.
Upon moving into your Residence Hall this Fall, ask your Resident Assistant (RA) or Resident Director (RD) about getting involved with your Residence Council. In Residence Council, there will be specific leadership positions (President, RHA Representative, etc.) in each building. Elections will be held for each position the second week of the semester.
