Number of Years Working at Brockport: Since August 2013

What do you love about Brockport?

I enjoy its quiet nature and wide open spaces. It is a welcome change of pace for me.

What's the best part of your job?

Easily, the best part of my job is working with my RAs and any other RAs I am fortunate enough to engage with. They are incredible individuals that are always looking to do more for themselves as developing professionals and for their residents as developing college students.

What do you do for fun?

I can generally find a way to amuse myself, but I do greatly enjoy:

  • Watching almost anything on the Food Network
  • Netflix/Hulu
  • Video games
  • Music
  • I've recently begun listening to audiobooks
  • Attending sporting events
  • Something new, whatever that may be
  • Walking around town
  • I would like to reteach myself how to knit
  • Cooking and baking: I find recipes on Pinterest and try them out
  • Other fun things people enjoy

Any advice for students?

College goes by very quickly. Don't forget to take in every moment and every experience. Treasure and cherish every opportunity presented to you and make opportunities for yourself. Take mental pictures and bring them with you when your time here is done.
