Summer 2020 On-Campus Housing

  • On-campus housing is available for summer 2020 in the Student Townhomes.  
  • This option is for current SUNY Brockport students and is available between Saturday, May 16, and Saturday, August 23. 
  • To be eligible to live on-campus during Summer 2020, you must:
    • be currently enrolled in spring 2020 course(s)
    • have remained in on-campus housing as a residential student as of Friday, May 1, 2020 and are currently residing in a Student Townhome or Eagle Hall
    • be enrolled in a summer session course(s) during summer 2020
    • If you sign up for Summer 2020 Housing and live in The Student Townhomes, you can remain in your current assignment.
       

Student Townhomes Accommodations:

  • Climate Controlled
  • Furnished accommodations include single bedroom, full kitchen, living room, and washer/dryer.
  • There will be two students per Townhome. Each student would have access to their own private bathroom and have a single bedroom
  • WiFi and all utilities included

*Summer housing charges will be added directly to Summer 2020 student bill. If a student checks out prior to August 23rd, housing charges would be pro-rated.

Registering for Summer On-Campus Housing

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Residential Life/Learning Communities at (585) 395-2108 or (585) 395-2122 or email housing@brockport.edu. Summer assignments will be posted in the online housing portal in mid-May.

Check-in Procedure

  • Students arriving on days not listed above must contact housing@brockport.edu to arrange alternate check-in times.
  • Summer students need to be checked out of their on-campus housing no later than Sunday, August 23, at 12PM, where students will be able to immediately check into their Fall 2020 housing assignment. 
  • Students that are not checked out by the last day of the session they signed up for may be charged a daily rate for each additional day they occupy their room.

Policies

  • All students are expected to abide by the On-Campus Housing License and Student Code of Conduct and The Social Distancing Contract while residing on-campus. Any student found in violation of these policies will go through the Student Conduct System and may be removed from Summer Housing.
  • There will be no on-campus food options for students over the summer
  • To be eligible to live on-campus during Summer 2020, you must be:
    • be currently enrolled in spring 2020 course(s)
    • have remained in on-campus housing as a residential student as of Friday, May 1, 2020 and are currently residing in a Student Townhome or Eagle Hall
    • be enrolled in a summer session course(s) during summer 2020.
  • While on-campus for the summer, students must practice all forms of social distancing  
  • Students are encouraged to bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are expected to wear face coverings, while in public.
