8 am – 5 pm Residence Hall Check-in (First-year Delta College, Honors College, and Living Learning Communities students)
Residence Halls
Move-in assistance will be provided until 5 pm. Check-in will continue through the evening, but no move-in assistance will be available after 5.
8:30 am – Noon Welcome to Honors Breakfast Reception (First-year Honors College students and family members)
Thompson Hall, Smart Classroom
Take a break and stop by any time during the move-in period. Enjoy refreshments and meet Honors peer mentors and faculty!
9 am – 2 pm Delta College Open House (First-year Delta College students and families)
Cooper Hall, Delta College Office
Stop into the Delta Office in H-1 Cooper Hall to pick up your welcome packet and T-shirt and say hello. Delta faculty will be available to greet you and answer any questions you or your family may have.
2 – 4 pm Activities with Honors Peer Mentors (First-year Honors College students)
*Mandatory*
Liberal Arts Building, McCue Auditorium
This required session for Honors freshmen will help you get acclimated to Brockport academics and the campus community. You will engage in informal activities with your peer mentors, including a campus or village tour tailored to your interests. Additionally, you will receive a free T-shirt and participate in a class photo! Please arrive on time and bring a printed copy of your fall class schedule.
2 – 5 pm Delta College Jumpstart and Your First Lesson (First-year Delta College students)
*Mandatory*
Edwards Hall, Room 103
Join fellow Delta students, faculty, and Delta leaders as we welcome you, our newest members of Delta College. Be sure to wear your Delta T-shirt! Your first Delta lesson will give you an idea of what to expect in your Delta courses and a sense of what makes Delta unique. Get ready to be inspired and engage in the Delta College culture.
6:30 pm LLC Welcome and Dessert Reception (First-year LLC students)

Come enjoy some dessert while hearing more about what to expect in your first year participating in the LLC program! You'll have the opportunity to meet and talk with other LLC students, LLC Mentors, RAs, RDs, staff, and faculty members.
7:30 pm First LLC Community Meeting (First-year LLC Students)

Your Residence Hall
Join the other members of your LLC, along with your RAs and LLC mentor, to learn about the unique opportunities you'll have as an LLC resident this year!

9 am – Noon Honors College Freshman Academic Orientation (First-year Honors College students)

This required session will include breakfast, an overview of Honors College requirements, a symposium on how to make the most of your undergraduate education and achieve your personal goals, distribution of iPads, and an informal meeting with your Introduction to Honors (HON 112) instructor.
9:30 – 11:30 am The Delta Basics (First-year Delta College students)

New students will experience what it means to be part of Delta and learn how to get involved from the student perspective.

Not registered for classes yet? You must have your Degree Audit to be admitted into the Ballroom. Please be sure to stop by the Office of Academic Advisement in the Rakov Center for Student Services to pick up the registration materials required to register for classes.

This event is required for all first-year LLC students. Please refer to your Resident Assistant (RA) for the meeting location and program information for your LLC.
1:30 – 3:45 pm Last Chance Orientation
*Mandatory for new freshmen who did not attend Summer Orientation*

Kick off the fall semester by joining us for an in-depth session focused on preparing you for your college career. We will help to make sure you have completed the Brockport Bound checklist and are ready to begin classes on Monday. This session will include a student panel, an online accounts tutorial, a Q&A with upperclassmen, and a tour of campus to ensure you know where your classes are. Please bring your fall schedule with you. Check-in begins at 1:15 pm.
2 – 3 pm EOP Transfer Student Orientation (New EOP transfer students)

3:45 pm Academic Convocation (All new students)

The SERC
Join faculty, staff, and students as we welcome you and celebrate the beginning of a new academic year through presentations highlighting Brockport’s excellence and pride. Ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm. For more info: www.brockport.edu/academics/convocation
5:30 – 7:30 pm Dinner
See residence hall staff or Welcome Week staff for details. Commuters join us either in Harrison or Brockway Dining Hall.
7:30 – 8:30 pm First-year Community Meetings (All residence hall students)

Join the Office of Residential Life/Learning Communities as they welcome you to your residence hall community. Your RD and RAs will review policies/procedures as well as effective strategies for your success at The College at Brockport. See your building staff for details.
9 pm – Midnight Late Night Programming: Grocery Bingo Plus

This is traditionally one of our most popular events. You could win bags of groceries, room supplies, a plush chair, or a 32-inch TV!

Jump right in! Meet your Transfer Peer Mentor (TPM), interact with other new transfer students, obtain your student ID and parking permit, and learn more about academic expectations and resources available to you. Continental breakfast and lunch provided (free for new students; fee for guests). RSVP required to transfer@brockport.edu.

Each new student will participate in a community service opportunity that matches both a community need and the student's interests. Please wear closed-toe shoes, bring a water bottle, and bring any items necessary for your project.

Shuttles will depart every 15 minutes.

Head over to the SERC for a pre-event breakfast from 9 to 10 am. Then, join your classmates in considering the journey, pathways, and experiences that will shape your best self at Brockport and beyond! We have invited a dynamic Brockport graduate and the inspiring team he works with each day to guide your entire class in this process. You are guaranteed to leave with an appreciation of who we are today and the motivation to grow and contribute as you learn more about Brockport, your peers, and yourself. It all starts here!
5 – 7 pm VIP New Student Event
Seymour College Union, Bookstore
Get to know what the bookstore has to offer and pick up your textbooks and supplies. There will be free food, raffles, and goody bags.
6 pm Class-Finding Tours
Seymour College Union, Main Lounge
Join the Welcome Week Assistants for a tour of campus, specially customized to your class schedule. Bring your schedule and meet them in the Union Main Lounge.

Tell us about your favorite travel experience, project, adventure, or more by emailing theport@brockport.edu, sharing it on social media using #bportsummer, or filling out a written submission at this event!
