Analog Features (Single Line)
Call Forward
This feature will allow you to forward all of your calls to another extension on campus. This feature can not be used if you are in an ACD Queue
To Activate
- Lift handset
- Dial the # button, followed by the 1 button
- Hear regular dial tone
- Dial number where calls are to be forwarded
- Hang up.
To Cancel
- Lift handset
- Dial the # button, followed by the 1 button
- Hear regular dial tone
- Hang up.
Call Pick-Up
This feature will allow you to answer any line that is ringing in your pick-up group.
To Respond
- Lift handset
- Dial 1 3
- Answer call.
Call Transfer
This feature allows you to transfer a call to another extension on campus.
To Activates
- Switchhook flash or press LINK button
- Hear special dial tone
- Dial number
- Announce caller in privacy
- Hang up.
Conference
With this feature, you can initiate a conference call for up to six people (including yourself).
To add a new party to an established call
- Flash the switch hook or press the link button. You will hear three beeps followed by dial tone. The first party is on hold.
- Dial the number of the person to be included in your call. When the call is answered, you may talk privately with the new party.
- Flash the switch hook or press the link button to include all parties in the call.
- To add more parties to the conference (up to six, including yourself) repeat steps 1-3
Note:If you make a mistake while dialing or receive a busy signal, flash the switch hook (or link button) to return the original caller.
Ring Again
If you get a busy signal when calling an on-campus extension, this feature will notify you when the line is no longer busy. This feature will not work if the number you are calling has voicemail.
To Activate
- Switchhook flash or press LINK button
- Hear special dial tone
- Dial #1 1
- Hear regular dial tone
- Hang up.
To Respond
- Hear short bursts of ringing
- Lift handset (number is automatically dialed).
To Cancel
- Lift handset
- Dial #1 2
- Hear regular dial tone
- Hang up.
Last Number Redial
To Use
- Lift handsethear dial tone
- Dial 1 8 9 (number is automatically dialed).
Call Waiting
To Respond
- Hear two quick beeps during a conversation
- To answer new call:
- Switchhook flash or press LINK button (first call is put on hold)
- Talk to incoming caller
- (Switchhook flash or press LINK button to alternate between callers).
Permanent Hold
To Activate
- Switchhook flash or press LINK button
- Hear special dial tone
- Dial the # button, followed by the 4 button
- Hang up.
(Your call is now on hold: if you hang up, your phone rings intermittently to remind you; if you do not hang up, there is no ring.)
To Return
- Lift handset.
(If you did not hang up…switchhook flash or press LINK button.)
