Take A Break Tuesday - Walks
Need a break from your desk? Want to get out, enjoy the weather and stretch your legs?
The Employee Fitness Program will be sponsoring a 30 minute weekly walking program during normal lunch break hours. All walks will be around campus, we will meet as a group beforehand and leave together. The tentative meeting times and start locations will be as follows:

It has been shown that regular walking can help maintain a healthy weight, prevent
disease, high blood pressure and type II diabetes, strengthen your bones and muscles,
improve your mood, and increase balance and coordination! Get the most out of your
lunch break!- meet new faculty, explore campus, get away from your desk, and improve
your health. If the Western New York weather is undesirable we will switch to Thursday
of the same week at 12pm.

Incentive Program - "Sharks and Members"
Each member who signs up will receive a fish as their “game piece.” Their fish will move a space for every two visits to the EFP. There will be one shark piece that moves a space every so often. The shark is essentially “chasing” all the fish to make sure they’re coming in at least twice a week! The program will last 6 weeks from March 27-May 5. The fish furthest from the shark at the end of the program will receive a T-shirt or gift card (depending on if they already have a T-shirt).
