LITS Telecommunications provides high-quality voice communications technologies to all faculty, staff, students, and vendors. In addition, LITS Telecommunications is responsible for providing maintenance of the College's voice technology server infrastructure, and for making repairs, moves, adds and changes for Brockport College. LITS Telecommunications is also responsible for the billing of services rendered to its customers.
Below are a list of what services we provide:
- Phone Support (Cisco IP Phones, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Contact Center Express)
- Voice Mail Support (Cisco Unity)
- Audio Conferencing (Frontier)
- Cable Infrastructure
Cable Repair: We're able to help with copper, fiber, coax, IBDN box, patch cables, voice cables, handset cables, and ethernet data cables.
Telecom Billing: Feel free to ask questions about monthly billing, vendors, department billing numbers, invoices, etc.
Audio Conferencing: Having problems with setting up an audio conference or perhaps voice quality issues?
Speech Recognition: Are you having trouble with the Speech Recognition (name to phone number) service?
Phone Issues (Cisco): For the new Cisco phone systems, we provide break/fix for both hadware and software features, voice mail, ACD Menus, Jabber Clients, IM Presence, and also the User Web Portal.
