Policy Statement

When the Office of Human Resources receives word that an employee is leaving the College, an invitation is issued to that employee to schedule a departure interview. This meeting serves to advise the individual of fringe benefit program status.

Policy Procedures

Departing employees are briefed on their pay accounts, health insurance conversion privileges, and the status of their retirement accounts; arrangements are also made at this time to complete the necessary actions to insure efficient disposition of the College's obligation to the employee in these matters. Departure interviews are conducted by the professional staff of the Office of Human Resources.
