Transcripts

Transcripts are a complete record of all courses and/or degrees completed at a specific institution. Transcripts ordered from The College at Brockport reflect only courses taken through The College and any degrees earned from The College.

Brockport transcripts do not include specific coursework completed at other institutions. Only the transferrable units are reflected on the Brockport transcript under “Transfer Credit Accepted by Brockport”.

Transcripts from high school or other colleges cannot be duplicated. You must apply directly to each institution attended for copies of their transcripts.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts can be accessed through Web Banner for students who were in attendance at The College at Brockport in 1983 and later.

To access your Unofficial Transcript:

  • Log on to Web Banner
  • Click on Student Services
  • Click on Student Records
  • Click on Academic Transcript

Students who attended prior to 1983 must send a signed request via email, fax, or postal mail to the office for an unofficial transcript. Please note that an unofficial transcript will only be sent to the student’s home address. Unofficial transcripts are free of charge.

Official Transcripts

Requests for official transcripts must be made online. The Office of Registration and Records has contracted Credentials Solutions to manage all official transcript request orders. Your official transcript is maintained by the State University of New York College at Brockport and is bound by the Federal law FERPA (Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974).

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR ELECTRONIC DELIVERY. We apologize for the inconvienence.

Placing Your Order

Official transcript orders are not accepted by mail, fax or email. Orders can be placed by phone directly to Credentials Solutions for an additional $15 ($25 total for a standard order).

You must provide either your Brockport Banner ID number or your Social Security Number to place an order.

You must supply a valid email address in order to use the Credentials Solutions service. You will receive email confirmation of your order, its status, and any issues that may need your attention. If problems arise, Credentials Solutions must be able to communicate with you. If communication isn’t possible, your order will be automatically cancelled after 30 days.

The cost per official transcript is $10.00. If you have both a Brockport undergraduate and graduate academic transcript, both will be sent for $10.00. Extra fees are applied for Federal Express service (see Transcript Processing and Delivery below).

You must have one of the following credit cards available to pay for the order: American Express, Discover, MasterCard or VISA. Your credit card account will not be charged until the order is completed. If your order is cancelled before it is completed, there will be no charge to your credit card.

You can check the status of your order online at any time. If you have questions regarding the status of an online transcript order, please contact Credentials Solutions at (847) 716-3005.

If you attended in FALL 1983 OR AFTER, log on to Web Banner.

  • If you need a pin reset, please contact the Help Desk at 585-395-5151.
  • Once signed in, click on Student Services
  • Click on Student Records
  • Scroll down and click on Order Official Transcript- *NEW*. This will bring you to the Credentials Solutions website
  • Then click on Start My Order

Please note: Additional processing time may be required for records with attendance prior to 1983.

Holds

If there are any financial holds or administrative obligations on your student record, they must be cleared with the department/office that placed the hold on your record before a transcript can be released.

You will receive an email from Credentials Solutions regarding any holds and will be given the telephone number of the department/office to contact regarding clearance.

Transcript Processing and Delivery

Transcripts can be picked up in office or mailed to an address specified by you.

All transcript orders require authorization. Once authorized and approved, you will receive an email from Credentials Solutions when the order has been completed and mailed.

In-Office Pickup

  • $10 Charge
  • Within 1-2 buisiness days you will be notified that your transcript is ready for pickup. Our office is located in 201 Rakov Center for Student Services. The building is at the corner of Kenyon Street and Residence Drive.
  • Attachments cannot be included in transcripts designated for in-office pickup.

Standard First Class Delivery

  • $10 Charge
  • Within 1-2 buisiness days you will be notified that your transcript has been sent and your payment will be processed
  • Delivery time will depend on where your transcript is being sent. Delivery is usually within 7-10 business days. For expedited delivery, please see FedEx Service below.
  • Orders with attachments – Any attachments must be faxed or emailed to the Office of Registration and Records to be forwarded with the transcript. The fax number is (585) 395-5392. The email address is registrar@brockport.edu.

FedEx Service - next business day delivery

  • Fees
    • $20.00 – Domestic to main 48 states
    • $23.00 – Domestic to Alaska or Hawaii
    • $43.00 – International
  • Your credit card will not be charged until the order is complete
  • Orders with attachments – Any attachments must be faxed or emailed to the Office of Registration and Records to be forwarded with the transcript. The fax number is (585) 395-5392. The email address is registrar@brockport.edu.
  • Attention: All Federal Express orders require a signature at the time of delivery. The College at Brockport does not offer Federal Express Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday delivery. Federal Express fees will not be refunded due to lack of signature delivery.
