Amy Shema, Executive Director
Amy Shema joined SummerLEAP at the College at Brockport in May of 2018. Amy Shema, PhD is an instructor in the Department of Education and Human Development. Prior to her work at the College, Dr. Shema taught in the Rochester City School District and worked on contracts with the US Department of Education that focused on out of school time learning, literacy, and staff development. Dr. Shema's research includes work with diverse families, early childhood education, and global citizenship
Reed Sanchez, Graduate Assistant and Coordinator of Assessment
Reed joined SummerLEAP at the College at Brockport in summer of 2017. Reed has completed her undergraduate degree from Brockport in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children with a concentration in dance studies and Childhood Inclusive Certification. Reed started as a teacher assistant in the summer of 2017 and became the Graduate Assistant the following summer. Reed is currently completing her masters at the College at Brockport in literacy B-12.
