About
Officer Laura Thompson has been with University Police since 2017. Officer Thompson is a Brockport alum and earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in forensic science. Officer Thompson is the first K9 Handler for SUNY Brockport and completed her training in July alongside K9 Ellie, a yellow lab certified in nitrate detection and tracking.
Officer Thompson is an instructor for Rape Aggression Defense and also serves as the department’s juvenile officer. Officer Thompson is the department liaison for Perry Hall.
